Day 9

Today we set out from our week-long stay on the North Shore of Kaua'i (and by the way, it's pronounced just like Hawaii, but with a K) It was hard to leave such an amazing view as the Sea Lodge had... but little did we know...   oh sweet lord.... how little did we know....  

Anyhow, we didn't accomplish much today other than killing time. We had to check out at 10am, and our flight didn't leave until 730pm. So we headed up to one of the closest falls to us to see one last sight :

after that... we went to a shopping center to kill some time, grab some souveneirs, and eat some sushi.....from a conveyer belt!! they charge you based on the color of the plate and how many you have at the end!  nice!

....    after dinner... we puttered around a shopping mall until it was time to head back to the airport. Hopped from Kaua'i... to Honolulu, Oahu... then on to the Big Island of Hawaii.  We drove in darkness across the center of the Island from Kona to Hilo.... we could make out some of the mountains in the dark, but will definitley be making our way back there soon.  We got to our next house, and the interior is amazing, but we couldn't see our view .... UNTIL...  then next morning!!!
